We will refund the value of a gift card up until the recipient activates it. Once the gift card has been activated, the recipient will need to cancel the gift card and the recipient can return the remaining funds from the card to the purchaser once they receive the refund. Note that there is an account close out fee to do this, which is described in the Cardholder Agreement. Funds will be delivered to the recipient in the form of a paper check.
Service fees are non-refundable once the gift card has been mailed because we cannot recover the cost of producing and mailing a gift card. However, if you contact us shortly after your purchase is made, we can sometimes cancel the order before it is produced and mailed, in which case you'll receive a full refund.
