Under MasterCard rules, your liability for unauthorized purchases using your Card Account without a PIN is $0.00 if: (a) your Card Account is in good standing; (b) you have exercised reasonable care in safeguarding your Card Account from unauthorized use (i.e., you did not provide, directly, by implication, or otherwise, the right to use your Card Account and you received no benefit from the 'unauthorized' purchase); and (c) you have not reported two or more unauthorized events in the past 12 months.
